He is survived by: his children, Karen Cahill of Fayetteville, Susan Bottjer (John) of Land O'Lakes, FL, Michael Planty (Michelle) of Derwood, MD and Ronald Jr. of Derwood, MD; his siblings, Judith L. Caringi of Parishville, NY and George V. Planty of North Syracuse; and his grandchildren, John, Patrick Cahill, Heide, Tyler Bottjer, Samuel and Charles Planty.
