Barry F. Bradley Obituary
Barry Francis Bradley, age 82, of Asharoken New York sadly left us on February 7, 2024. Husband to Catherine West Bradley, father to Barry Roy Bradley and Landregan Bradley Corette. Grandfather to Harlow West Corette and Mattix Wyld Corette.
Father in law to Tammy Bradley and Dean Corette. Barry grew up in Fort Salonga New York. After marrying Catherine they settled in to Asharoken to build their family.
He began the job of sanitation in the village of Asharoken and continued this position for forty three years. He was a bartender in more places to name, both in the Hamptons and here at home in Northport. As a bartender in town and with his love for people Barry made himself known around town and gained many friends.
His love for the water brought him to his deputy Harbormaster position in Asharoken and his Bay Constable and Harbormaster position with the town of Huntington, NY. Barry had an appreciation for the outdoors which kept him busy. Summer months you could find him with his family at his beaches at home and in the winter, skiing in Vermont.
He loved his family first and foremost. His other loves were his friends, Montauk, his favorite restaurants, his job on the water and his villages of Asharoken and Northport. He touched so many lives with his joy for life.
He will be missed by many. Visitation Friday, 2-4PM and 6-8PM, Nolan Funeral Home, 5 laurel Avenue, Northport. Funeral Mass Saturday 11AM, St. Philip Neri Church, Northport.
Interment to follow at Northport Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers we request donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) and Sweetbriar Nature Center.
