It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Marco (Northport, New York), born in Astoria, New York, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Michael DeSimone and Margaret DeSimone (Collins); her grandmother Annie Eager Collins; her children, Lisa Hollywood (Daniel) of Manhattan, Angela Marco of Roseboro, NC and Richard Marco of Florence, Italy; her grandchildren, Nicholas Tate, Mary Tate and Katherine Glynn (William); her great grandchild Addy Bowlin; her friend Mary Nash; her goddaughter Alanna Verlie; her cousin Sandi Martin; and her half-brother Arthur DeSimone.
Lastly, in lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a donation to the Sisters of St. Benedict at St. Joseph's Home, 350 Cuba Hill Road, Huntington, NY 11743. Please include a note that your donation is in memory of Mary Marco.
