With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James W. Cotey (Norwood, New York), who passed away on June 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jean; his daughter Lynda Marie; his siblings, John Cotey, Clara Colwell and Helen Cotey; and his parents, Ord Cotey and Hazel Riggs Cotey.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Hicks of Norwood, Mike Germano of Norwood, Charles of Norwood, Ann Cotey of Norwood, John of Norwood, Michael Cotey of Norwood, Cindy Roy of Norwood, Melanie and Matt Morgan; and his sibling-in-law Jean A. Dunn. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
