He was predeceased by: his parents, John Barnett Hough and Catherine McGowan Hough; his sister Elizabeth Hough Barker (Lawrence L. Barker, JR.); and his brother-in-law GySgt. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Smith LaValley; his stepsons, Randy, Alan and Ricky LaValley; and his siblings, Mary (Walter Holman), Frances (Alan), Candy, Jim (Patty), Joe (Lourdes), Jerry (Marie) and Margaret (Don Spruit). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Andrews Church, The Sons of the American Revolution, or th St. Lawrence Power & Equipment Museum.
