He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Speicher. He is survived by: his father Henry Jr. Speicher; his children, Christopher (Aylin), Timothy (Angela) and Jennifer; his grandson Noah; and his siblings, Arthur (Donna), Thomas (Christine) and Daniel (Jessica). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of Flowers the family request that donations be made on his behalf to the New York City Police Foundation.
