He was predeceased by: his parents, John Reid Sr. and Sarah Stead Colquhoun; his siblings, Jean and Ed; and his niece Heather.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Colquhoun (Noriko Colquhoun) and Donna Jones (Darren Jones); his grandchildren, Diane, Elliott, Graham and Angus; and his brother James Colquhoun (Francis Colquhoun).
