He was predeceased by : his brother Charles Caufield; his nephews, Gary Wilson and Michael Massia; his siblings-in-law, Jane Grennon Caufield and Robert Massia; his close friend Richard E. Winter; and his parents, Frederick Stephen and Hildred Leeder Caufield.
He is survived by : his siblings, Kathryn Massia of Ogdensburg, NY, Sandra Wilson (David) of Ogdensburg, NY, Donald Caufield (Mary Ann) of Ogdensburg, NY and Lawrence Caufield of Ogdensburg, NY; his niece Angie Caufield Dailey; his sister-in-law Ann Dobisky Caufield O'Connor; and his close friends, Mike and Maureen Brashaw (family: Al Joanette). He is also survived by nephews, and cousins.
