He was predeceased by: his son Richard M. Mettler; and his siblings, Leola Tidd, Westley Mettler and Walter Mettler. He is survived by: his parents, Max H. and Erma I. Darling Mettler; his wife Rena M. Coon; his children, Ronald J. Mettler of Dixon, Ronda M. Turner (Thomas) and Renee M. Luty (John); and his grandchildren, Trisha Turner, Tiffany Turner, Brandon Turner, Rachel Waters, Angela Reed and Michael Luty.
