He is survived by: his children, Bambi Collins (Michael) of Oneida, Janice Burton (John Waybright) of Leesburg, FL, Le Roy V. Thornton (Terri) of Oneida, Leslie E. Thornton (Claudia Abrams) of Oneida, Terry L. Thornton (Barbara Wright) of Oneida and Raymond Burton, Jr.; his son-in-law Clifford Olcott of Oneida; and his siblings, Betty Janczuk of Durhamville and Willard Thornton of Oneida. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, forty-nine great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
