He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Gardner and Elinor VanVleck Gardner; his wife Louise Cox; his children, Petrina Vanderhoff (Joseph) of Rome, Dorene Suits (Jay) of Rome and Craig Gardner of Durhamville; his granddaughters, Vanessa Spadafora (Michael), Valerie Ritenour (Kenneth) and Heather Suits; his great grandchildren, Gianna Spadafora, Lilly and Maxwell Ritenour; his siblings, Barry Gardner (Margaret) of Asheville, NC, Donna Seamon (Donald) of Vernon and Charlene Wilson of Rome; and his son Tony Oliver.
