Virginia C. Mariano Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia C. Mariano in Oneida, New York, who passed away on August 1, 2025 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Virginia C. Mariano to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Cesario and Anna Maria Cesario (Sarandrea); and her siblings, Charles Cesario, Joseph Cesario and Catherine Pumilio (Cesario).
She is survived by: her family Pete of Tocker's Fruit Stand; her sons, Peter, Jr. (Judy) of Ohio and Michael (Tracey) of Oneida; and her grandchildren, Matthew Mariano (Melinda), Meghan Russell (Ben), Morgan Shaffer (Nicholas) and Mallory Rose (Amanda). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home (201 James St, Canastota, NY 13032). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Agatha's Church (329 N Peterboro St, Canastota, NY 13032).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Virginia's memory may be made to St. Agatha's Bereavement Ministry or the Greater Lenox Ambulance Service (GLAS), with envelopes available at the funeral home.
