She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Thorne; her parents, Isaac and Dorothy; and her siblings, Betty, Fred, George and Joe.

She is survived by: her brother Gerald Rifenbark (Patricia) of Davenport Center; her sibling's children, Michael Fitch of Oneonta and Shelley Adams (Phillip); Deb of Oneonta. She is also survived by nieces, and nephews.

I lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory are asked to be made to Catskill Area Hospice or the Susquehanna Animal Shelter.
