It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Katharine (Oneonta, New York), born in Albany, New York, who passed away on August 13, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hutson and Katharine Hutson (Carey); her brothers, John Hutson and Arthur Hutson; her granddaughter Kayla Marie Byam; and her uncle Edward Carey.
She is survived by: her children, Celine (Tom Francisco) of West Laurens, Judith (Floyd Byam) of Virginia and Dolores "Lorrie"; her husband Fred Dykstra of Richfield Springs; her grandchildren, Meghan, Erin, Nathaniel, Kathleen Francisco, Travis (Kate), Breanne, Collen Byam, Vanessa Dykstra, Trenton Dykstra, Katherine Novko, Amanda Wilkinson, Andrew Wilkinson, Lucas Novko, Caleb Novko, Julia McCrea, Leah McCrea, Daniel, Greggory, Nichole, Jared and Logan Conklin; and her great grandchildren, Myles Byam, Aaliya Conklin, Grayson Conklin and Mia Whiteway. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
