He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hoyt and Edith Miller Hoyt. He is survived by: his children, James Hoyt (Patti) of Walton, Lester Joseph Hoyt (Kay) of Kentucky and Victoria Hoyt-Nordberg (Eric) of Oneonta; his son-in-law Kurt VanNess of Trumansburg, NY; his sister-in-law Shelia Hoyt of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Michele Barnes (Mike), Kevin Hoyt (Greta), Chris Hoyt (Regina), Benjamin Kilpatrick (Jessica) and Erin Newkerk (Jake); and his close friend Lee Reynolds (Bruce) of New Jersey. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
