He was predeceased by: his wife Leonora Lobdell; and his grandson Todd Solomon. He is survived by: his spouse Geraldine Dijiacomo; his children, Faith Solomon of Vestal, Linda Porter (Robert) of Oneonta, Diane Erle of Endicott, Gary "Butch" Lobdell (Billie) of Spring Hill and Michele Stoeger of Davenport; and his grandchildren, Laura Solomon, Tina Urben, Heidi Blasetti (Louie), Michael Erle, Marissa Martinez (Nati), Jen Lobdell, Nicole Lobdell and Tony Richardson (Hollie).

Memorial donations can be made to Pet Rescue in Burts name.
