With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John D. Simonds (Oneonta, New York), who passed away on March 9, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Simonds and Frances Simonds (Beams); and his siblings, Barbara Couse and Robert Simonds. He is survived by: his spouse Mary Fisher; his daughter Deborah Brown (Richard); his grandchildren, Timothy Brown (Candice) and Tina Quencer (Ian); his great grandchildren, Owen, Bryn, Zoey, Ella and Everett; and his siblings, Dorothy Gill, Peggy Sorenson, Nancy Elliott (Donald), Belva Linscott (Roger), Russell Simonds (Bonny) and Paul Simonds (Carla). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

For those who wish memorial donations may be made to either the National Heart Foundation or the National Kidney Foundation.
