It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Edward Brown of Oneonta, New York, born in Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on July 22, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Brown and Lois Brown (Weller); and his siblings, Darrell, Richard and Betty.
He is survived by: his daughter Maureen Kinne (Devin) of Norwich; his sisters, Vonia Serakos (Leo) of San Antonio and Jackie Epley of Springfield, Ill.; his sisters-in-law, Diane and Elisabeth Brown; his granddaughter Lucy Kinne; and his former wife Carol Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
John's family requests that donations in his memory be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
