He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennie Brown and Orson LeRoy Hollist; and his sister Rella Mae Hollist Moyes. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Parker; his children, Anne (Ryoichi Suzuki), Larry (Lauri Hollist), Jennie (Michael Polizzotto), Joseph (Suzan Hollist), Kaylynn (Michael Spencer), Jonathan (Mary Hollist) and Martha (Chris Kilpack); his siblings, Dawnell (David Tingey), Martha (Craig Rushforth), Nancy (Vance Pace), Robert (Elna Hollist), Alice (Jerry Giauque), Rand (Marla Hollist), Jolynn (Chuck Bean) and Jeff (Carla Hollist); William Moyes of Utah. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren.
