He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Americo Ross and Beatrice Ross (Empie); his spouse Evon; his daughter Melissa Allen; his son-in-law Paul Allen; his grandson Cody James Allen of Otego; his siblings, Esther Riegert (Bill) of Waterford, Tina Boggs (Dave) of Oneonta, Toni Crippen (George) of Fly Creek and Americo Ross (Elaine) of Bainbridge; his daughter Mary Ross; and his sister Maryanne Carkees (Konchar).

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Helios Care, 297 River Street Service Road, Oneonta.
