She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Piretti and Delfina Piretti (Minacci); and her siblings, Catherine, Elizabeth, Jennie, Burt and Peter.
She is survived by: her husband Robert F. Darr of Oneonta; her children, David Simonds (JoAnn) of East Canaan, CT and Deborah Brown (Richard) of Schenevus; her grandchildren, Mark Simonds (Kristina), Scott Simonds (Jane), Kate Kriha (AJ), Timothy Brown (Candice) and Tina Quencer (Ian); her great grandchildren, Madison, Jacob, Cole, Olivia, Ella, Everett, Owen, Bryn and Zoey; and her brother Bruno Piretti. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
