He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert P. Pindar and Dorothy Pindar (Tipple); his wife Patricia "Patt" Cross Pindar; his daughter Sue; his son-in-law Steve Mongillo; his son Stephen; his daughter-in-law Lisa Pindar; his grandchildren, Monica Mongillo Jakiel (Jonathan), Jared Mongillo, Amanda Lyons, Todd Mongillo, Kennie Johnson, Katharyn Pindar Ridgeway (David) and Christopher Pindar; his great grandchildren, Bryce Mongillo, James Collins, Alexander Jakiel, Cecilia Mongillo and Benjamin Ridgeway; his stepgrandchildren, Jillian Rumenapp Eastman (Christopher) and Joshua Rumenapp (Lindsey); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Alexander and Abigail Eastman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, or Susquehanna SPCA building fund.
