He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Rice and Lucille Rice; and his sister Brenda Rice. He is survived by: his wife Molly Keogh of Smyrna, DE; his daughters, Alexandra Hanson (Todd) of Hebron, MD and Melissa Rice of Harrington, DE; his grandchildren, Nicole Hanson and Joseph Rice; and his siblings, Celia Soden (Ken) of Delhi, NY, Ralph Rice (Michele) of Hummelstown, PA, John Rice (Nancy) of Stamford, NY and Melody Hochbrueckner of Grand Gorge, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
