He was predeceased by: his parents, John O. Stevens and Janet Stevens (Chapman); his former spouse Dale Sandford Stevens; his daughter Sarah Allison Buffum; and his grandson Phoenix Jude Dunning Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Carleen Mitchell Stevens of Oneonta; his children, Matthew Thomas Stevens (Anne), Adam John Mitchell (Meloney Dunning) of Indianapolis, IN and Jennifer Jon Sauvola (Lyle) of Rindge, NH; his siblings, Francine Bailey (Robert) of Oneonta and William Stevens (Donna) of Oneonta; his close friend Tom; Angela Palmer. He is also survived by 15 loving grandchildren and 7 loving great grandchildren.
