He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Johnson and Mary Virginia Johnson. He is survived by: his close friends, Rob Klein, Brian Powers and Andy Resney; his wife Nancy Johnson (Plaag); his children, Eric Johnson and Carlena Johnson; his son-in-law Thomas Crabtree; his granddaughter Zoë Crabtree; and his siblings, Mitch Johnson (Victoria) of Vero Beach, FL, Fred "Kip" Johnson (Diane) of Fort Mill, SC and Ginger Dayon (Johnson) of Wyoming, RI. He is also survived by five nieces and a nephew.
