He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Rasmussen and Anna Rasmussen; his sister Helena; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Doheny and John Arnold.

He is survived by: his siblings, Eleanor Arnold and William Rasmussen (Nancy); and his siblings' children, Athena Manley, Michael Henrikson (Michelle Henrikson), Suzanne Figary (Stephen Arnold) and Lesa Bussmann (Jeneé Rasmussen-Green).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of choice.
