He was predeceased by: his parents, William Foote and Alma Slawson (Jones); his daughter Jennifer L. Loveland (Slawson); his sister Elizabeth F. Slawson; and his brother-in-law Gerald Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Norma of Oneonta; his sons, Jeffrey Slawson of Orchard Park and Michael Slawson of Schodack; his children-in-law, Jessica Slawson of Schodack and Dale Loveland of Otego; his grandchildren, Emma Slawson, Juliana Slawson of Schodack and Britney Loveland of Liverpool; his niece Teresa Webster; and his brothers-in-law, Dale Carr of Oneonta, Roger Carr and Gloria Carr of Oneonta. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
