He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Willow Canestrari; his wife Jessica Croce; his parents, Dolores Canestrari and Robert Canestrari; his siblings, Robert Canestrari (Samantha) and Elizabeth Kontrabecki (Joe); his siblings' children, Robby, Jake, Nathaniel, Joey, Ella and Sammy; and his mother-in-law Barbara Fabianski.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel) (3060 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church (3148 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127).
