She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Coppernoll (Lower) and Lloyd B. Coppernoll; and her husband Dee C. Heckethorn. She is survived by: her children, Andrew D. Heckethorn (Karen) of Oswego and Amy Heckethorn-Jones (Peter) of Rainbow Lake, NY; her sister Carole Drenchko (Joseph) of Rexford, NY; her grandchildren, Benjamin Heckethorn, Janice Gingher (Steven), Glynis Jones (Jarred) and Rhonwen Jones; and her great grandchild Conrad Gingher.
