Beverly J. Goewey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2020, at the age of 83, Beverly J. Goewey of Oswego, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ruttan and Lulu Ruttan (Noerr); her husband David J. Goewey; her brother John Ruttan; her siblings-in-law, Barbara Gunther, Jane Ruttan and Alan "Ted" Todd; and her granddaughter Erika Purt.

She is survived by: her children, Judith King (David) of Oswego, Linda Purt (Harry) of Oswego, Janet Knopp (Rick May) of Albany, Donna Sharkey (Keith) of Oswego, Frederick Knopp (Tom Bliek) and David Knopp (Judi) of Oswego; her siblings, Carol Todd of Oswego and William Ruttan Sr. of Oswego; her sisters-in-law, Noreen Ruttan of Oswego and Mildred Freemantle of Oswego; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Crance (Matthew), Leandra Williams (John), Gregory King, Stephen King, Matthew Purt (Angela), Jason Purt, Nicholas Purt (Jhulini), Kali Purt (Zach Meyer), Alexandra Jackson, Audrey Jackson, Austin Jackson, Aaron Jackson, Jenna Golas, Heather Curran and David Knopp. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
