He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Whitney (Percival); his children, Sandra Deveney of Oswego, Diane Whitney of Oswego, Kathleen Whitney of Oswego and Michael Whitney (Wendy) of Fulton; his siblings, Nelson "Jimmy" Whitney of Florida and Lois Brown of Buffalo; and his grandchildren, Chris Deveney, Stacey Crego and Ashley Deveney. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
