He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent James McDermott; his wife Laurie Guntrum McDermott; his mother Alma McDermott of Oswego; and his brothers, Daniel McDermott (Cheryl) of Danville, CA and Donald McDermott. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
