He is survived by: his wife Amy Hillyard (Sharland) of Oswego; his mother Patricia Hillyard of Watertown; his son John Hillyard of Spencerport; his brothers, Roy Hillyard and Kim Hillyard; and his half-siblings, Mark, Mickey Tavani and Cindy Tavani. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
