He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Sharkey and Hazel Sharkey (Greenwood); his children, Beth Younglove Jr. (Ross) of Red Creek, Brenda Sharkey of Hannibal, Earl Jr. (Brenda) of Red Creek, Fred (Laurie) of Oswego, Barry (Dena) of Fulton, Brad (Raeann) of Oswego, Greg (Christina) of Oswego and Mark (Jennifer) of Red Creek; his siblings, Charles Sharkey (Carrie) of Hannibal and Ella Cooper of Oswego; his wife Barbara Sharkey (Hill); and his siblings, George, Harold, Lloyd, Robert, Marshall (Glenn Sharkey) and Edith Powers. He was also cherished by 27 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
