He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Harry" and May Lewis (Turkington); and his siblings, Anna May Bartholomew, Margaret "Peg" Somers and William "Bill".
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Lewis (Wheeler); his children, Timothy Lewis of Oswego and Stephanie May (Paul) of Malta, NY; and his sisters, Mary Clark (Robert) of Oswego and Christine Burleson (Albert) of Beaumont, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations sent to Upstate Cancer Center at Oswego Hematology Oncology at Oswego Hospital, 140 West 6th Street Oswego NY 13126.
