It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Gabriel Jr. (Oswego, New York), who passed away on December 3, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gabriel and Ruth Hollinger; and his sisters, Esther, Laurie and Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Mackenzie Vaught (Gabriel) of Burbank, Tamara Gabriel of Newton Pennsylvania and John J Gabriel III of Buffalo; his grandchildren, Reno Thiart, Maya Thiart, Gianna Gabriel and Jack Vaught; his sisters, Delores Kumro (Gabriel) of Lancaster, NY and Jessie Gillette (Gabriel) of Hamburg, NY; his half-brother Calvin Smeltzer of Allentown, PA.; and his nephew Oswego. He is also survived by nieces/nephews and great nieces.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, services are not planned for this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Friends of Oswego County Hospice, Human Concerns Inc of Oswego and Golisano Children's Hospital.
