He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Alger and Pearl Trumble Alger; his son John Grieco; and his siblings, Stanley, Glenn 'Pete' Alger, Irene Fosdick, Rosella Huntley, Shirley Babcock and Patricia Ruel.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Jody Martin; his daughters, Donna (John Harris), JoAnne Grieco and Debra Conklin; his siblings, Sandra Birmingham and Donald; his grandchildren, John D. Harris, Tammy Harris LoDrago, Michael Grieco Bly, Joseph Bly, Lindsey Gilliam, Edward Grieco, Michael Smith and Angela Smith; his great grandchildren, Alyssa Goldberg, Katja Harris, Benjamin Martin, Bronsyn LoDrago, Bryant LoDrago and Ella Bly; and his nieces and nephews, Evelyn Lovenguth, Lynne, Daniel Marshall, Ralph Denicola and Jim.
