He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmelo Sterio and Maria Sterio; and his sister Mary Loschiavo. He is survived by: his wife Adele Sterio (Stracuzzi) of Oswego; his children, David Sterio (Jill) of Oswego and Judy Sterio of New York City; his grandchildren, Shane and Shelby Stepien; his great grandchildren, Spencer, Addison, Jameson and Connor; and his sister Mamie Ellis. He is also survived by nieces/nephews.
Nick's band was the "Go-To" group for every wedding, prom, fraternity/sorority formal, dinner dance and Policeman's/Fireman's Charity Ball for many years.
