He is survived by: his parent Lillian McNamara Smith; his wife Esther Lockwood; his daughters, Sharon A. Smith of Oswego, Jeanette M. Whitehouse (Pat) of New Smyrna, FL and Theresa J. Ciappa (Scott McCall) of Baldwinsville, NY; his siblings, James Smith, Patrick Smith, Jane Rawson of Mexico and Marion Arcadi; his grandchildren, Traci Young Terpening, Dawn Donahue Fernandez, Todd Donahue, Anthony Ciappa, Gregory Smith, Anastasia Smith, Miranda Smith and Adam Smith; and his great grandchildren, Alexander Fernandez, Brianna Fernandez, John Patrick Ciappa, Nathaniel Smith, Abigail Donahue, Sydney Yu Terpening, Daniel Donahue, Samantha Hua Terpening, Emma Ciappa and Sammy Ciappa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
