It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oma Courbat (Oswego, New York), who passed away on May 3, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Bernard Grant; her sister Roberta Skinner; and also, Max Halsey and Edna Halsey. She is survived by: her husband Fay Courbat of Mexico, NY; her children, Edward Grant (Jeannie) of Scriba and Tammy Grant of Pulaski; her brothers, Max Halsey (Alice) of Dearborn, FL and Mickey Halsey (Patti) of Mexico, NY; and her stepchildren, Karen Rein (Rick) of Phoenix and Kevin Courbat of Brewerton. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandsons.
