He was predeceased by: his parents, William Guernsey and Josephine Guernsey (Hollop); his former wife Dorothy J. Hanson; his wife Francis Pauline Roseberry; his son Joseph J. Guernsey; and his grandson Kevin R. Sheridan.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy (Paul Eannetta) and William F.; his daughter-in-law Linda Guernsey of Connecticut; and his daughters, Margaret (Sam Paura) and Laurie (Kevin W. Sheridan). He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Because William loved animals, the family suggest in lieu of flowers, donations be made to any no-kill shelter of your choice or to any Hospice Organization.
