She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl D. Strope and Mildred E. Strope; her husband Jacob Rypkema; and her brother Gerald Strope (Thelma). She is survived by: her son Timothy (Susan) of Binghamton; her grandchildren, Michaleen, Victoria, Katheryn, Jennifer, Jonathan and Joshua; her son Dean (Karey) of Owego; her grandchildren, Tyler and Mikayla Rypkema; and her daughter Bonnie Strope of Montour Falls. She is also survived by 4 nephews, 1 niece, and numerous great nieces and nephews; and 9 great grandchildren.
