With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roger James Tackley of Apalachin, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Tackley and Bernice Tackley; and his siblings, Donald Tackley and Anne Reilly. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Tackley; his children, Lorrie (Daniel Tyler), Dan (Jody Tackley), Ben (Amanda Tackley), Robert (Catherine Dorans), James Dorans, Heather Dorans-Duda and Drew (Jessica Dorans); his grandchildren, Josh, Cassidy, Luke, Nick, Sierra, Dylan, Tara, Cooper, Michael, Alaina, Ethan, Alex and Fiona; his former wife Eileen Mosteller; and his brothers, John Tackley and Clyde Tackley. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home (15 Park St, Owego, NY 13827). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
