He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter R. Norris and Louise Miller Norris; his wife Dawne Norris; and his siblings, Albert W. Norris and Marion Klein.

He is survived by : his children, Walter "Wally" Norris (Debbie) of Ferndale, NY and Jennifer DeFrank (Michael) of Parksville, NY; his grandchildren, Leona Washington (AJ) of Monticello, NY, Katrina Martins (Chris) of Parksville, NY, Michael DeFrank Jr. of Parksville, NY, Giada DeFrank of Parksville, NY and Genna DeFrank of Parksville, NY; his great grandchildren, Jaden Washington and Kenzi Washington; and his cousin Eileen Robertson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (115 West St, Liberty, NY 12754). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
