Margaret R. Powers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret R. Powers of Patterson, New York, born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on December 9, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Vera and Mary Vera (Phair); her husband Harold V. Powers; and her siblings, James, Helen, Betty and Mary.
She is survived by: her children, Bryan (Christina Powers) of Danbury, CT, Karen Mary Powers of Patterson, NY and Barbara Powers Canoni of Wellesley, MA; her grandchildren, Kristin Carroll, Kara Dominguez, Kyle, Sean and Trevor Powers; and her great grandchildren, Jason Carroll and Abigail Carroll. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, December 11th at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling from 5-7 PM; masks are required and "social distancing" observed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM at St. John's Church, 39 East Main Street, Pawling, masks required and "social distancing" observed.
