She was predeceased by: her parents, Olena Sexton and Trent Sexton. She is survived by: her husband Albert "Mike" Chewning; her daughters, Nicole and Monique Chewning; her brothers, Donald Sexton (Trent Sexton Jr.) and Darnell Sexton; and her nephews, Trent B. Sexton and Jamel Sexton. She is also survived by cousins, friends, students, and extended family.
