Lillian C. Henning Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillian C. Henning (Peekskill, New York), born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 24, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her close friend Mike DiBart; her parents, Josephine Cost and Samuel Cost; and her siblings, Theresa Mancuso, Viola Goffredo, Sam Cost, Jr. and Bertine Bradley (Melvin Henning).
She is survived by: her son Robert Henning; her grandchildren, Jack, Caroline and Courtney Henning; and also, Catherine Henning of Austin, Texas., Barbara Caucci (Gerard), Debra Oven (Thomas), Saundra Brady (Joseph), Suzanne Sassack (Walter), Sam Cost (Carol) and David Bradley.
The family would also like to thank a Hudson Valley Presbyterian Hospital ICU nurse, Maria, who made extraordinary efforts during the pandemic to provide comfort during Lillian's final days and allowed her son to be with her.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the American Heart Association in her memory.
