She is survived by: her mother Ana Herminia Diodonet-Mejil; her brother Teodoro Rivero; her children, Bianca Aquilino-Genao, Christopher Aquilino, Sunni Patterson, Mustafa Patterson, Abdul Patterson, Muhammed Patterson and An-Nisaa Patterson; her grandchildren, Najzhay Vega, Noemi Genao, Nia Genao, Mila Patterson and Sterling Sullivan; and her godmother Mama Elsa. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her honorable extended children.
