He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Fournia and Vada Fournia (Devins); his wife Margaret "Mag" Pellerin; his grandson Richard Fournia; and his sisters, Agnes Turner, Beatrice Gilmet, Evelyn Miner, Blanche Collins, Jeannette Pellerin, Jean Miner, Monica Wainwright, Anna Mae Peck and Vada Ano.
He is survived by: his children, Linda (Michael Tedford), Rick (Gale Fournia), Brad (Kathleen Fournia), Kevin (Julie Fournia), Steve Fournia (Cheryl) and Scott (Tammy Fournia); and his grandchildren, Jessica LaClair, Michael Tedford, Carissa Fournia, Danielle Siskavich, Zackery Fournia, Logan Fournia and Katelyn Bissonette. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home (294 Mannix Rd, Peru, NY 12972). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Church of the Assumption (78 Clinton St, Redford, NY 12978).
Donations in his memory may be made to the Saranac American Legion to their North Country Honor Flight Fund.
