She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Ovenshire and Melvin Ovenshire; and her brothers, Lee, Bruce and Charles.
She is survived by: her husband Edward "Bud" Nayaert; her son Eric Smolinski; her grandchildren, Brandon, Raquel, Kyle and Shane; and her nieces, Denise Fultz, Terry Paddock and Pam Stearns.
